Apple apparently feels as though the video camera addition to the iPhone was a huge hit and success, and , I have to admit, the quality of the camera was quite impressive for a phone. Rumor has it that Apple has placed orders in mass numbers for the same type of camera used in the iPhone.
Now I don’t know if this is true, but it would be sick if the iPod received a camera. The camera was the one thing that separated the iPhone from the iPod (besides, of course, the phone capabilities). Apple is playing this extremely smart as they could gain more users for their iPods without them having to switch cell carriers to get an iPhone.
