Several years ago I decided to purchase the iPod 5th Generation, or, as you might know it, the iPod Video. Oddly though, I wish it would die already!

Last year I really wanted to get the iPod touch when it really became popular. But I had to justify the purchase by making sure I needed it. This would have to mean the death of the iPod video. I have never wished the death of a gadget like I have the iPod Video.

Despite the hateful thinking 24/7 and the “accidental drops” the iPod didn’t even freeze up once, not to mention die. Actuallly it is still alive and kicking today.

The iPod Video is one of the most amazing pieces of hardware I have ever used in my life. Not only because it lasts forever, but that it hasn’t had one glitch or restart. The battery has stayed top notch all of these years, and the fact that it can remain in my possession for so long is impressive.

So if your looking to get sick of a gadget that you might think will be here after the apocolypse, the iPod Video is for you.
